And now FF14 is getting its third full expansion in the form of Shadowbringers. Its endless parade of Final Fantasy fan service isn’t half bad, either. It’s got a tremendous single-player campaign, too, the best dungeon design around, and just a whole lot of charm.
It’s tied with Final Fantasy IX as my personal pick for the best game in the series, and easily my favorite massively multiplayer game of all time. Final Fantasy 14: A Realm Reborn) is absolutely fantastic.
